Behind the Name

I am excited to start your Pilates journey with you or keep you going. I fell in love with Pilates about... 4 weeks after I started.


I have done a lot different kinds of movements throughout my 35 plus years of intentional movement, but nothing other than Pilates has gotten me out of my back pain, kept me wanting more and excites me like seeing the change in my clients bodies. Within those years I always had to go and find my "spot" to move, be it dance, running, stretching, working out, Pilates. When I was a little girl it was in the street, practicing baton, then in middle years it was our living room, with the coffee table and coach pushed to the side. In dance class we all seemed to have had our "spot" never appointed by the teachers but done by ourselves. Moving into adulthood finding my spot with a husband and two children in the mix proved to be challenging but always doable. So, whether you come into my home studio spot or you find your own spot at home, I am ready to support you through your Pilates journey.
