Pilates For Beginners Or For Those Who Need A Slower Paced And Allows For Modifications.
The best goal a person can have is to move their own bodies on their own, and to gain the understanding how the Pilates method can help bring more awareness to your own body. Although this class may be slower and add more helpful modifications to the 55 minute class, don't be fooled into thinking it's easier. Depending on each person's goal, this class maybe your perfect fit or just a stepping stone to go into the more advanced work.
Pilates For The Top Athlete
After learning the foundation of Pilates and vocabulary, this class takes your Mat practice to the next level . The three words that describe Pilates are evident and confidently done; Strength, Stretch and Control. This class challenges the mind and body to execute the most advanced Pilates exercises. This class is NOT a good class if you do not confidently know your personal modification or if you have any physical issues.
Mat III is the most advanced and most comprehensive class there is in the Pilates method.
It requires you to have no spinal or physical issues. This class does not allow any drop in's as it requires a solid foundation of the Pilates work.
Heidi is a fabulous pilates instructor. She is very knowledgeable and takes great care in planning her clients workout programs. I came to her 2 years ago unable to use my right knee beyond simple walking and I suffered from stiffness and regular pain. Heidi worked hard to strengthen the muscles in that area and I am nearly pain free, have better range of motion, balance and general strength in my right leg. In addition, I feel great and am far more fit than when I first walked into her studio.

Heidi is a very uplifting, confident instructor and teacher who knows how to get results. I am so much more physically able now than I was when I started! She has a way of breaking down the barriers and the "stuck" places and helping to restore the energy that makes you move with ease.

I just had a recent bone density scan with some amazing results! My spine has actually shown IMPROVEMENT since the last scan was done about 4-5 years ago! Since I’m 71 years old, that was really good news and I want to give Heidi a huge thank you!
