If you were looking for perfect walking weather it is here and now! I have been enjoying my walks. My Body differently needs a good stretch and roll out after. I usually set my timer for the amount of time I have and I roll out my Quads, IT bands, hips and glutes. I don’t have to spend a lot of time, I mean I could, but a little goes a long way. Then I get my standard leg stretches in, Hamstring, IT band, hip and Quads. If I have extra time, I’ll do my calves as well. If I didn’t do these things, I would be feeling it later… The tightness would start and discomfort will set it. The enjoyable walk will something of past. Now because I cared for myself after, I know I’ll have a nice night’s sleep. We do Pilates because it teaches us how to care for ourselves.

I can’t believe that the online platform has been going for more than 6 years! Yes, I started it because past clients wanted to still work with me doing Pilates Mat Classes. I wasn’t sure about any of it, but it has kept going! As things went along, I had a lot more people ask me about it, and I went ahead and jumped into it. It has it’s own platform, it’s organized ( getting even more as time goes on) into categories and the feedback was been so great! Mark your calendars, I am so excited to have Kim Armington back in the studio to teach us about pelvic health. If you missed the last one, no worries, you can come to this one! Kim has so much knowledge to share with us and leads a great workshop. You will leave with a lot more clarification about your own body and pelvic floor. More on the workshop in coming weeks as of right you can mark your calendars for October 21st 6 PM to 8 PM grab your mother, mother-in-law, friend, sister and come and learn about pelvic floor health.
:Hey I got word from a couple of clients that they were not receiving their 3hr notice for the Mat Classes. As mentioned last time, under your profile where your appointments are (privates and Mat class, workshops etc.) listed, will be the concrete way of knowing if you have a session at Heidi’s Spot. If the appointment is listed, it’s happening. The 3hr reminder would be something you’d have to have ON in your settings in the vagaro app. Since I had a couple of clients telling me this, I called Vagaro and they said, if that is happening you would have to troubleshoot just like you would any other app. Is the Vagaro app updated? Do you need to reboot the app? log in, log out? check settings, or Delete the Vagaro app and upload it again. Because I know who told me about not receiving the noticed, the Vagaro rep was able to see that system did send out the reminder. I too am a user of Vagaro. So, when things “act up” on my end of the system, I too have to troubleshoot.
