The Sun is Shining and I am here for longer days with it. The Winter season was a great one here at the Pilates Studio. I am seeing more smiling faces due to being more in ease with your body. We have to remember there is an ebb and flow to being in our bodies but the more we can listen to it, ask what it needs then support it, we will be more comfortable in it. We’ve got clients losing weight, necks moving more, low backs out of pain, knee pain going away, and being more confident in moving with the Pilates exercises. This all makes me so proud of you! Also, I just want to extend a Thank you for those who either emailed or in person filled out the question: Why I Love Pilates. This was a fun way for us to share with one another what we love about Pilates. Check them out below!
The month is here… if you’ve been a part of my studio for any length of time you know what March is all about…. March Matness! This is a fun thing the Pilates community does together on Social Media. You can look up the hashtag Marchmatness and see how the different people doing an exercise a day from the Pilates repertoire. Some people get really creative with it and it’s fun to see.
Here in the studio for the month in all levels of mat class we are doing all of the exercises in Joe’s order, don’t worry the exercises will be modified for the appropriate level. It’s super easy to sign up for class,
just click the link. Drop-ins are welcome! Level 1 Wednesday at 11am, Level 2 Tuesday 9am and Level 3 Tuesday at 12. Come and join the fun!
Of course, the new videos that are up this month are “Strictly Pilates” all levels doing Joe’s exercises, in Joe’s order. Level 1 and 2 show the modifications for the advanced exercises, but Level 3 has zero modifications, so be ready. It doesn’t matter which level you are doing the repertoire; it is sure to challenge you. From Spine, core to extremities you are sure to feel challenged.
